Spicy chicken is a great side dish for naans and rotis...
Ingredients:
Chicken:1/2 kg
Ginger-garlic paste:2 tbsp
Red chilli powder:1 tbsp
Coriander powder:1 tbsp
Turmeric powder:1/4 tsp
Pepper:1/2 tsp,crushed
Garam masala powder:1/2 tsp
Fried peanut crushed powder:2 tbsp
Cinnamon sticks:2
Cloves:3
Bay leaf:1
Salt to taste
Oil:2 tbsp
Preparation:
Wash the chicken and clean and then cut in to pieces…
Put oil in a pan and heat…
Add cinnamon sticks,cloves and bay leaf..
Add the ginger and garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes..
Now add the chicken pieces,chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder,garam masala powder and salt and stir well..
Add 1 cup of water and cover the pan..
Cook for about 15 to 20 minutes until done..
Once it is thickened,add pepper and fried peanut powder and gently fry for 2 to3 minutes..
Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy with roti,naan,etc..
