Appam batter can be made at home easily with this easy to make recipe..
Ingredients
Raw rice-2 cups
Grated coconut-1 cup
Cooked rice-2 tbsp
To make the batter,soak the above ingredients for 2 hours...
Then grind in a mixer or a grinder in to a fine paste...
While grinding add little water only...
To this add yeast and mix well...
Leave this overnight as fermentation should take place..
Use this batter for making aapam/rice cake the next morning..
