Mutton-1kg
Potato-400g-cut in to small cubes
Coconut-350g-to be grated and made in to a paste
Green chilli-6 pieces
Garlic-50 g-finely chopped
Cumin powder-1 tsp
Turmeric powder-1 tsp
Coriander leaves-handful
Curry leaves-for garnishing
Salt -to taste
Preparation
Extract milk twice from the grated coconut.Pour cooking oil of your choice in a large pan.Add chopped garlic,green chilli and then saute till its slightly brown.
Again in that add curry leaves,coriander leaves,diced potatoes and cooked mutton with coconut milk which was extracted second time from the grated coconut.Let it cook in the milk until the sauce becomes thick.
Cook again with coconut paste,turmeric powder,cumin powder and coconut milk which was taken first from the grated coconut.
Add salt to taste.Garnish with curry leaves.
