Carrot kheer or carrot payasam is such a simple and yet rich dessert..It is so easy to make..You can surely impress your guests..Follow my step to step recipe..
Ingredients:
Carrots:3,grated
Sugar:3/4 cup
Milk:1.5 cups
Cashews:10
Raisins: few
Cardamoms:few
Ghee: 3 tbsp
Preparation:
Clean the carrots and grate them..
Take the pan and put it on medium flame..
Melt the ghee in this pan..
Add the grated carrots to the ghee and fry for about 8 to 10 minutes..
Now add the milk and cardamoms to another pan and boil the milk for about 10 minutes...
Then add the sugar to this mixture and let it dissolve well..
Now add the grated carrot mixture to the boiled milk and cook over medium heat...
Once the mixture thickens a little more..
Remove from the stove..
Add ghee fried cashews and raisins to the carrot kheer...
Enjoy the lip smacking carrot payasam!!
